Step 1
Install Timeline Block Pro For Gutenberg Editor
- Click on the download link to get the product.
- After a successful download, a zip file will be downloaded to your system.
- You have two options to download plugin zip files: "timeline-block-pro" or "Installable WordPress file only (timeline-block-pro-v[cpdata type="pro" slug='timeline-block-pro-for-gutenberg' value='version'])".
- If you choose "timeline-block-pro", you will need to unzip the file to access the main plugin.
- If you choose "timeline-block-pro-v[cpdata type="pro" slug='timeline-block-pro' value='version']", you can install it directly by going to WordPress dashboard >> Plugins >> Add new.
Step 2
Add Timeline Block Inside The Page
- Go to the WordPress admin and open your target page in Gutenberg block editor.
- Click the "+" button, search for "Timeline," and choose the Timeline Block Pro to insert.
- Customize the timeline settings to suit your needs.
- Click "Update" or "Publish," then check the frontend to see your timeline integrated.
Step 3
Add Timeline Stories
- After adding the Timeline Block, find the "+ Add Story" button at the bottom for vertical layout and at the top for horizontal layout.
- Click "+ Add Story" to start creating a new story.
- To insert a story at a specific position, click on an existing story block where you want the new one. In the settings panel at the top, click the "+" icon to add the story right after the selected one.
- Add story date/label, content, and image.
Step 4
Timeline Block Pro Settings
Settings (Layout / Design etc.):
- The Timeline Block Pro setting tab is used to customize Timeline Stories design and style.
- In the timeline block settings, you can enable features like center line filling, year navigation, and timeline animations for enhanced timeline.
- Provides the ability to choose between horizontal and vertical timeline layouts and customize colors, fonts, and styles.
